10. WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 (often short to WWE SvR 2010), is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yuke’s, and published by THQ  for the PlayStation 2 (PS2), PlayStation 3 (PS3), PlayStation Portable (PSP), Wii, Nintendo DS, and Xbox 360 systems. It is the eleventh and current video game in the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw  series, and is the sequel to its predecessor WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. It was released on October 20, 2009 in North America, October 22, 2009 in Australia and October 23, 2009 in Europe.

TOSE oversaw the development for the Nintendo DS version, which was the final game of the series to be released for the handheld. The game is based on the professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and is titled after the promotion’s two brands: SmackDown and Raw. It also features the promotion’s former third brand ECW. It is also the last game to feature the third promotion, ECW. Similar to previous games in the series, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 involves players competing in various different professional wrestling matches, either as one of the in-game characters based on WWE’s roster or as a character created in the Create-a-Superstar mode.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 adds several new features with the main theme based around customization, such as a Story Designer allowing players to create their own playable WWE storylines, an expansion on the Create-a-Finisher mode to include aerial techniques and for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, the customization of attire colors in a mode called Superstar Threads, a revamped Create-a-Superstar mode and a Paint Tool for creating logos to use on their created characters. -Wikipedia.org

9. Worms: Reloaded

Worms: Reloaded is an artillery game/turn based strategy game developed by Team17 and is part of the Worms series. It is scheduled for release on Windows via Steam, on August 26th, 2010, and is acquirable for pre-purchase. Team17 have stated that a Mac OS X version will be developed after Steam is released on Mac. The developers have stated that the game will be retailed at a ‘very captivating price’.  

The game is largely based upon the console version Worms 2: Armageddon released on Xbox Live Arcade in 2009, but is stated to be an ‘extended edition of the console versions of late.’  Team17 have currently released few details or media content concerning the title and a press release is not available.

8. Final Fantasy XIII

Lightning, a former soldier from Cocoon, begins her fight against the government in order to save her sister, who has been branded a l’Cie—unwilling servants to the beings known as the fal’Cie, who maintain order on both Cocoon and Pulse—and thus has become an enemy of Cocoon. Lightning is soon joined by a band of allies, and together the group also become l’Cie after their encounter with a Pulse fal’Cie. 7. UFC Undisputed 2010

UFC Undisputed 2010 is a blended martial arts video game featuring Ultimate Fighting Championship  properties and fighters developed by Yuke’s and published by THQ. It was released on Might 25, 2010, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and for the first time PlayStation Portable. It is the second game to be released under THQ’s 2007 agreement with the UFC and it is a sequel to the successful UFC 2009 Undisputed.

A teaser trailer of the game was shown on December 12, 2009 at the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards, where UFC 2009 Undisputed was titled the Ideal Individual Sports Game, showing a first look at The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights contestant Kimbo Slice. The full roster was announced April 27 on Gamespot. 6. Madden NFL 11

Madden NFL 11 is an American football video game based on the National Football League published by EA Sports and developed by EA Tiburon. It is the 22nd annual installment in the Madden NFL video game franchise. It was released on August 10, 2010 in North America, and will be released on August 13 in Europe. It will be released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS and iOS platforms.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 demos were released on July 27, 2010. A new play-calling system, called GameFlow, which attempts to create situational game plan based on down and situation, which is advertised to cut the playing time in half.

This feature also includes headset enabled audio advice on how to execute plays. Other differences from previous games include a new kick meter, new audible system, and new locomotion animation system. Another addition is Online Team Play, which supports 3 vs. 3 cooperative play, with attribute boosts given as an incentive. Players can also scout opponents in online head to head games. Dead or Alive: Paradise is a 2010 video game developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo Koei for the PlayStation Portable as part of the Dead or Alive series. The game is a port of Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 for the Xbox 360. The title expands upon the activities acquirable in the original which consisted of mainly beach-related mini-games.

BioShock 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by 2K Marin for the Xbox 360  and PlayStation 3 video game consoles, and the Windows operating system. It is the sequel to the 2007 video game BioShock. The game was released worldwide on February 9, 2010.  The game is set in fictional dystopian city Rapture, in a biopunk, steampunk alternate history 1968, eight years after the events of BioShock.

The protagonist and player-controlled character is a Huge Daddy, a being that has had its organs and skin grafted into an atmospheric diving suit. Among the first of its kind, the player-controlled Huge Daddy reactivates with no recollection of the past decade’s events, and scours the city in an attempt to relocate the Tiny Sister that he was paired with. 3. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment as a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft. Released on July 27, 2010, the game was developed for concurrent release on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. StarCraft II is split into three installments: the base game with the subtitle Wings of Liberty, and two expansion packs, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void.  

Set in the 26th century in a distant part of the Milky Way galaxy, the game is built around three species: the Terrans, human exiles from Earth; the Zerg, a race of insectoid genetic assimilators; and the Protoss, a species with vast psionic power. Wings of Liberty focuses on the Terrans, while the expansions Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void will focus on the Zerg and Protoss, respectively. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City is a standalone compilation of the downloadable content (DLC) episodes for the 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV, containing both The Lost and Damned  and The Ballad of Gay Tony  on one disc. It was released alongside the DLC release of The Ballad of Gay Tony  on 29 October 2009 for the Xbox 360  and released on 13 April 2010 for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (also known as Wrath, WotLK and WLK) is the second expansion set for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following The Burning Crusade.
