Golf clubs could be quite an expensive investment. However, aside from its cost, you also want to make sure that when you play, you are using your golf clubs that are in great condition to deliver your best game. This is why if you would be traveling with your golf clubs, it is imperative that they are protected from any damage caused by banging or rough handling. Here are a few tips to remember when you are traveling with your golf clubs.

Pack your golf clubs in a golf travel case or bag so that they will be protected. These are available from any golf store and you will surely find one that would fit your taste and budget. The two types of the golf travel cases available are hard shell and soft shell. If you would be traveling by air, it is more advisable to use the hard shell. Most airlines are willing to cover any damages if your golf clubs have been packed in a hard case first. However, you would still need to inquire about this with your airline company.

Hard shell cases are able to offer protection from demanding environments. Most of these are made with heavy molded plastic, which will help in protecting your clubs from hard throws, drops or any severe banging. The hard cases could cost a bit more than the soft cases, but the protection you would be giving your clubs would prove to be a worthwhile investment.

The soft shell cases could also be a good alternative, as long as you will be packing your clubs well. Although the level of protection your clubs will be getting would not be the same as with the hard cases, you could still ensure that they will end up with no damages by packing carefully. This would also work better if you will be traveling by car.

By packing your clubs carefully and placing them in a golf travel case, you would certainly be able to keep all your golf clubs safe from any damage that could be caused by elements or rough handling even when you travel.

Ok. Here are the basics. A golf club has three parts – the head, the shaft and the grip. A standard set of golf clubs consists of three woods (the Driver, #3, and #5 fairway woods), eight irons (#3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, and PW), and a putter – that’s twelve clubs in all. According to the rules of golf, and we should all play by the rules, you can carry fourteen clubs in your bag, so many golfers add a specialty wood or another iron.

Now, let’s have a look at the different types of clubs.

Drivers & Fairway woods

These clubs are used to hit longer shots. That’s a basic yet apt way to look at it. If a golf hole is a par four or five from tee to green, most golfers would choose to use a wood.

The driver, or the 1 Wood, has the lowest loft of any golf club. Loft is the angle of the club face that controls trajectory and affects distance. A driver has a loft between 7 and 12 degrees. Better golfers have traditionally favored drivers with less than 10 degrees of loft, which require a lot more skill to hit.

Most golfers also carry a #3 and #5 fairway wood as part of their arsenal. A #3 wood has a loft of 15 degrees, and a #5 wood has a loft of 18 degrees. The higher the golf club number, the higher the loft. The #3 and #5 wood are commonly referred to as fairway woods, because they are most often used during the second shot of play, when you are supposed to be on the fairway.

Hybrids

Hybrids are a recent innovation to golf. A hybrid is a combination of an iron and a wood and is an easier to hit alternative to a long iron. Hybrids are versatile enough to be used in any situation. Hybrids come in a range of four lofts – 16 (#2), 19 (#3), 22 (#4) and 25 (#5) Degrees. Hybrids replace their equivalent number long iron, e. g. a #3 hybrid will replace a #3 iron and a #2 hybrid can be used to replace a #5 fairway wood.

Irons

Irons are generally used for shorter distances and more control than drivers and fairway woods. The closer you are to the green, the higher the iron you will use. A standard set of irons consists of #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8 and #9 and the PITCHING WEDGE (PW). A sandwedge is generally a good option to purchase for shots out of sand traps. The #3 and #4 irons are harder to hit than the higher numbered irons. Many golfers choose to replace the #3 and #4 iron with higher lofted woods or hybrids which are easier to hit than traditional long irons, resulting in comparable distances.

Wedges

Wedges are really just specialty irons. The first wedge is the Pitching Wedge (PW), which is usually between 52 and 56 degrees in loft. The PW is the highest lofted iron in a standard set and lowest loft of the wedges. Lob wedges range from 58 to 64 degrees and are used for close range short and high shots to overcome obstacles close to the green. Wedges are extremely useful for your short game and it is beneficial to keep a selection of them in your bag.

Sand Wedges are another type of wedge and are designed to get you out of the dreaded sand traps. They have a shorter shaft and a more angled face to get under the ball in order to exit a bunker.

Putters

As the adage goes “Drive for show, Putt for dough”. The putter usually gets you in the hole, so it can be assumed, that choosing the right putter is critical to your game. Putters come in various styles and types. : short, belly, long, bent, center-hosel, heel-toe, mallet, and so on. When choosing a putter the main things to consider are the: weighting, balance and feel. Better putters provide alignment aids to help you visualize the line from your ball to the target.

Ron’s Passive Golf Method is about rotating the core of your body and following the eye line through the swing. This is the same swing method Tiger Woods has been talking about converting to due to the stress of his heavy tourqing. This is also the same swing that Ana Sorenstam has been using for the last few years. Yes, rotating the head with the turn of the right shoulder along with a passive grip as well as a loaded left side (irons and fairway woods) is what Ron del Barrios Passive golf swing is all about. Stack and Tilt or Stack and Blast?

A better golf swing is inevitable … for any golfer, with the right approach. No matter the age or ability. This is reality … and it can happen very quickly!

To achieve a better golf swing, golfers must realize how physically demanding on the human body is. You swing an object (golf club) up to 100 miles per hour. This is a great amount of pressure on your joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles.

If the tissue is weak, rigid or brittle they will rupture and remove you from playing golf indefinitely. If not, your performance will pay the price. The result is not so and so, what you want … But it will happen without an emphasis on strengthening these areas.

Along with strengthening comes stretching. Stretching muscles to attain a better golf swing is the most common among golfers. Although it is common to most golfers do not stretch. Why? Because it is seen as a “job.” But if it as a form of golf improvement seen it would be a different story.

Swing mechanics can not be improved if your golf specific strength and flexibility are ignored. This is impossible if you offset the lack of ability in your golf swing. Teaching pros are now starting to realize that there is a definite connection between golf swing mechanics and fitness.

But this is where the big gap. Between instruction and physical fitness. This is the best combination for the entire golf performance and I have been preaching for some years now. If your physical abilities will be improved, and golf swing mechanics to achieve a lot easier.

Next time your teaching pro to achieve a better golf swing, are you able to do what he wanted, and desired results. This result can not be avoided even if your body better in motion. Your golf swing mechanics fall into place.

This would only be a matter of time when all golfers improve their golf approach to be. This is the only way that will ensure lasting results and ultimately a better golf swing.

I was a manager at a private company which continues to work hard every day. Of course, all the activities that I do have left my body and mind was really tired. But I always tried to live with a balanced, that I will not spend my time just to work hard to push my body and mind. I always take the time to rest and seek a pleasant entertainment.

One of my favorite entertainments is when I go on holiday together with my family to a fun place. And must not forget, I visited these places should also be I can use to play golf, because golf is one of my hobbies. One day I was really confused to find an interesting place that I can make a place for a vacation. When I saw the computer, I suddenly remembered to search through the internet. After a while, I accidentally found the site http://www.ttimesonly.com/. I’m really thrilled, because I managed to get a place for a vacation.

From the sites I see it turns out there are resorts for golf in Myrtle Beach and also golf packages in Myrtle Beach. Of course I feel very happy, because Myrtle Beach is also a very beautiful place. And that makes me more happy is because the price offered to play golf and stay at the resort is really very interesting. Everything is in accordance with the quality of facilities provided. I really liked it.

Golf is a sport that is growing in stature as well as popularity. Tourist resorts, hotels and beach rentals have started to promote their packages with golf being at the top of their activity list. There was a time when Golf was a sport of the privileged but today almost everyone can play it. There are small golf clubs, tee clubs and golf parks mushrooming all across the world that offer plenty of choices from 8-holes to 16 holes and even more. So if you are a golfer by profession or by hobby, you will need golf clubs and a different club for a different shot and of course a putter.

Golfers have been through three different eras: the first one included a caddy carrying your golf clubs, the second era saw golfers use a buggy or a cart but the third era, which the newest one has modern and efficient options like the golf trolley. There are different types of golf trolleys available online including remote controlled ones for example the FCC remote controlled golf trolley. Here is a look at some of the important features of the trolley:

* The net weight of the golf trolley is 12kg without the battery
* When the trolley is open, the size is 113 x 68 x 92cm
* When the trolley is folded, the size is 82 x 68 x 31cm
* It runs on battery: 12V 24A 11.7kg
* It has a double motor and the specifications are: 360W
* The total load capacity is 25kg
* The maximum speed is 8km/h
* It can cover a distance of 18 holes on a 28A battery and 36 holes on a 33A battery
* Included with the golf trolley are scorecard holder and anti-tip wheel
* You can choose optional accessories like a drink holder and a travel bag
* The golf trolley has a state-of-the-art blue-tooth system. All you will have to do is adjust the turning angle as the handset is factory set in such a way that it will travel in a straight line.
* One of the salient points of this golf trolley is that you don’t have to push it. It will carry your golf bags and follow all your instructions through a wired handset.
* The golf trolley has been created in such a way that it has a modern appearance combined with powerful capability. It is available in two colors: black and silver
* You can fold it with ease and keep it in your car and travel with it anywhere
* It can be operated with ease and doesn’t need rocket science

Types of Trolley

There are basically two types of golf trolleys. One is the manual trolley and the other is the electric trolley.

Manual golf trolley

The manual golf trolley is light weight and an economical alternative to the electric trolley. It is also known as the push or pull trolley. Your standard golf bag can fit in with ease right onto the front section of the manual golf trolley. You can go for the 2-wheel manual trolley, which has to be pulled behind you while the 3-wheel golf trolley can be pushed or pulled. While buying a manual golf trolley, you need to consider several aspects like the durability of the trolley. The manual golf trolley is lightweight and strong too. As a result of the weight, you will be able to carry it along with you to different places. Just fold it and keep it in your car. You need to also ensure that the manual golf trolley you propose to buy folds neatly.

Electric golf trolley

The electric golf trolley is a saving grace for many professionals of the game. The electric golf trolley adds the angle of convenience to the game of golf. Unlike the manual trolley, you won’t have to push it or pull it. It can be controlled using a remote and will operate on battery. One of the aspects that you need to consider while shopping for an electric golf trolley is the batter power. If the battery is not good enough then it might run out at the 18th hole and you will have to push or pull the heavy piece of machinery all the way to the exit or the 1st hole. Ensure that it lasts long enough with just one charge. Find out the life span of the battery and the time taken to charge it. As compared to the manual version, the electric golf trolley is expensive but overall, it is a good long-term investment.

The game of golf is truly an individual sport. The basics are the same for everyone; however, due to the differences in people’s body types no two people will ever have the same golf swing. Each person will have to adapt their bodies to perform a proper golf swing in their own way. Taking the time to develop your own method of playing golf will greatly improve your enjoyment and success at the game. Practicing the basic fundamentals of the game until they are ingrained in your muscles will lead to confidence on the course, and that confidence will lead to success and enjoyment of the game.

One of the most basic steps that you can put into action and see an immediate improvement to your golf swing is to keep your head still and look straight at the ball. The position of your head should be straight in line with your spine, and your nose should be raised up a bit so that when you start to swing, your left shoulder fits under your chin. Many players tuck their heads into their chests to try and keep their heads still and look straight down at the golf ball. Unfortunately, they cannot perform a proper golf swing while in this position.

If you are one of the many that are having difficulty keeping your head straight and an eye on the ball try the following. The next time you approach the ball, assume the correct stance with your feet and knees in position but keep your head and back straight, bend forward slightly at the waist and look straight at the ball. If you try and take a swing in this position, your left shoulder will most likely hit your chin. While keeping your eyes on the ball, raise your head slowly until your left shoulder does not hit your chin. Make sure that your head does not move from side to side by keeping your eyes fixed on the ball. Slowly go through the backswing and downswing portions of your golf swing. Do not hit the ball and do the follow through. Practice this portion of your golf swing focusing on keeping your head straight and eyes on the ball.

Practice this exercise in your backyard for about 25 times in a row and then take a break and relax a bit, then start again. Make minor corrections to your head and body position as needed to keep your eyes straight on the ball and your left shoulder from hitting your chin. This exercise will “train” your body, and your muscles will “remember” the correct position you need to be in to perform the movement correctly. Think about any sports athlete, they train and train to place their bodies in the correct stance and position to properly execute the movements necessary to be successful in their particular sport. You are doing the same thing by “training” your body to keep your head straight and position itself so that you can successfully execute a proper golf swing.

Another basic step that can work greatly towards improving your golf swing is to relax. I know it is easier said then done, especially when you are getting ready to put all your power into drive with an audience of either your co-workers, or better still your friends who will not let you forget it if you mess up. However, relaxing your muscles will help you to maintain the proper balance that is important to a great golf swing. Regardless of the golf clubs you use, your balance is the primary foundation of your golf swing, and the way to achieve good balance is to practice. A good way to practice improving your balance is to assume the address position with your club, relax your body and try holding it there for about 30 seconds. Does it feel like you have more weight on one foot or the other? Is one part of your body more tense then another?

Keeping your head straight and maintaining good balance are just two basic parts of a great golf swing. The exercises given above are just two ways that you can start training now to improve your golf swing. You can work on either one separately, or combine them together into one exercise. Improving your golf swing begins and ends with you. Training the muscles of your body to properly perform specific movements takes time and practice. The effort spent improving your golf swing will pay off on the course. Through exercise and practice, you will be able to slip into the proper address position and perform an effortless, powerful golf swing and feel just as if you were sliding your hand into a warm soft glove.
