Most people in the world (literally) have heard of WWE. That is because it has become a global entity due to the extreme vision Vince McMahon had.  Love him or hate him you can’t help but to admire the tireless tenacity he has. This is a man who would create flyers to help promote the wrestling events he would place on.  It is known that in order to succeed in business you first must have a vision of what you want it to be.  Vince McMahon had this vision which helped to shape Sports Entertainment to what it is today.

The way he promotes is genius.  He has a way of making people want to see the matches.  Look at what we had going on politically back in the 80’s.  You had Hulk Hogan on one side who was seen as an American Hero.  He stood up for what he believed in and gained admiration for his lifestyle.  On the other side we had The Iron Sheik.  With all the politics going on at the time and the strains between various countries this is a match up prefabricated in heaven.  People didn’t seem to care who won they just wanted to see our hero Hulk Hogan get his hands on the Iron Sheik.  That is just one of many examples of how innovative Vince McMahon can be.

He would build story lines around certain characters but, rarely have them wrestle one another.  He would have them make many confrontations but would move for the right moments in order to acquire the most out of it. In the 1980’s he would promote specially televised events which at the time was on shut circuit TV.  This was just the beginning of many things to come. Once a year he began to hold a yearly event called Wrestlemania.  The ideal matches were place together and the story lines were build up and Wrestlemania was the climax.  Pivotal success was finally reached during Wrestlemania III.  Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant and Ricky Steamboat vs. Macho Man Randy Savage (arguably one the ideal matches in history) among other high level matches filled this card.  This event was held in the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit.  A record sellout of over 93,000 people came to see this.

Over the course of the 1980’s thru the 90’s the wrestling industry was changed.  That one special event turned into various PPV’s multiple times a year where again story lines reached their climax or another one began to spark more interest.

The one thing that does get over looked at times is the outreach that WWE does.  Many WWE superstars are involved in the make a wish foundation and other charitable groups.  Vince McMahon is a great supporter of our US military.  A newer yearly event has been their Tribute to the Troops show.  The wrestler’s (on a volunteer basis) travel to Iraq and Afghanistan and puts on a show for the troops.  How much more can you ask?

Wrestling has reached new heights.  The grappling of the industry has changed due to Vince McMahon.  A man that prefabricated flyers to promote his matches to a corporate empire that is globally known.  This is a great example of enduring the obstacles to reach the vision.

I am the mom of six wonderful children. I have been healthy to pride myself on the fact that they all know their manners and know how to respect authority. Up until recently, I thought all the things my friends had stated about the horrors of their children were just something I was lucky enough to refrain the hassle of dealing with.

My oldest is now 12 and nearly 13 years old. She just started Middle School this year and has the added responsibilities of sports and school activities in addition to her regular chores, church, and school work. She is a straight “A” student and always is polite. You would think that she were an adult sometimes by the way she can embrace an uncomfortable situation and make the most of it.

My daughter, for the furst time this summer learned disappointment that was brought on by her trying out for the cheerleading team and not making it. I was really chesty of the way she handled it. In fact, I was extremely excited to learn it had not turned her against the option of trying out for other activities.

She joined athletics and indeed has prefabricated the volleyball team. The experience of her having to work for something and being healthy to see the results has improved her outlook on the importance of different aspects of life. However, the experience has also given her a bit of independance I was not prepared for.

She has a hectic schedule at best. She has practice four days a week after school. I do not even see her on most days until right around 6:00 P.M. This has prefabricated doing her chore a bit more difficult and I am assuming the slack. After all, she is a good student and is learning a new sport.

Take it from me, middle school will change the outlook you have on many different things. I know I wish I had spent more time with my daughter this past summer. I miss the one on one time we used to have.

My advice to other parents is simple. Do not take for allowed that your child will always want to spend time with you. Do what you can to encourage them in whatever activities they want to participate in as that will become one of the only ways for you to have time with that child when they get older.

Right off the bat, it seems that the WWE is having some problems lining up Talent for their Next DVD project. In the works right now is “ The Rise and Fall of WCW” they have already contacted Ted Turner and he has told them no. Bischoff has also stated no but there is some speculation that either he is holding out for A superior price or doesn’t want to be so selectively edited as they have done in the past. I certainly hope he does do it otherwise you wont have anyone of substance on the disc that isn’t collecting a regular paycheck from the WWE. There really needs to be at least one voice from the other side so both sides can be told.

In an interview with the UK sun , Bret Hart had a few things to state on several different subjects. On Taker and HBK at WM25 , he was very impressed with the match , saying it was the ideal he had seen in quite a long time . On passing the torch , given the circumstances of his departure from the company , this isn’t a good subject to have him speak about but he did state that many wrestlers like Hogan , Roberts , and the Warrior never passed the torch to anyone. Hart stated he would have loved to help Steve Austin get over and would have even had another match with HBK. On Cena being the company guy Hart basically stated that while he doesn’t support everything that Cena States or does , he has been is Cena’s shoes and it isn’t the easiest place to be.

The NBA is slicing into the ratings of both TNA and WWE. I got news for both sides, as teams get eliminated and series get superior and superior its only going to get worse. The days of rising ratings are on hold until the end of the NBA. As the Lakers and Cavaliers had toward their showdown , the wrestling audience on telegram will be stagnant at best.

A tiny note in wrestling history. Twenty years ago this day in Nashville Tenn . Rick Flair defeated Ricky the Dragon Steamboat for the NWA world title . I bring this up only to point out that their was a window of opportunity to have a Flair , Steamboat match at anyone of the last three Wrestle Mania’s and some how it didn’t happen. Its no wonder that the way things are getting prefabricated up on the fly lately , that they miss these kind of opportunities to sell your product .

Ken Kennedy has gone down to FCW to scrape the ring rust off in hopes that he can resume his career sooner rather then later . A once very bright future has been dimmed by serious reoccurring injuries and to be absolutely honest, I am somewhat surprised that they have stayed with him as long as they have . Lets hope for the ideal for Kennedy , Kennedy ……

And finally , Dennis Rodman , fresh of his winning the Coveted CCW belt , making inquires to TNA. I got two words for TNA, Pac Man. They do not need to complicate there situation any more then having this moron come in and turn things on its side. He isn’t a huge enough study to come in on his own and make a splash , so that’s money they can spend superior somewhere else.

Well we have come to the end. Make sure you check out my other blog, Marla’s wrestling rants on blogger or my bleacher report articles under the study Lamar Bolton. I am spreading links all over cyber space so if you cant find either of them, let me know by commenting, till then, Ill speak to you soon.

Bellavista is a small village 10 miles south of downtown Lima , Capital of Peru. It gets  very little rainfall–about half an inch a year. People living here have to spend around 10 U.S dollars for water for their regular cleaning chores. Kai Tiedemann and Anne Lummerich, conservationists with a few thousand dollars and some volunteer fag set up fog-collecting nets that gather hundreds of gallons of water during the foggy winter months of June to November.

Fog Catchers unit  looks a like giant volleyball nets, 13 feet (4 meters) tall and 26 feet (8 meters) wide. The top of apiece net is 18 feet above the ground. The nets stand perpendicular to the prevailing wind. Coarse woven mesh, prefabricated of a of plastic netting is tied between two wooden poles. As wind blows through  heavy fog , little droplets stick to the coarse woven mesh. As more and more little droplets stick to the net, they become heavy and drop down in the gutter build below that is connected to collection tanks that can store more than 25,000 gallons of water. A single Fog Catchers net yields more than 150 gallons of water on a good day.

Day by day water is depleting due to global warming.Though our Earth is prefabricated up of 2/3 water, only 1/100 of that water is drinkable.Water conservation becomes must for each one for sustainable living.Save water resources and save the life on the earth. On a small scale fog catchers have been used successfully all over the world but it will never be practical on massive scale.

The Union Budget for the year 2011-12 is going to presented by finance minister on Monday 28 Feb 2011 and the government is likely to increase subsidies on food, a populist move that hurts public finances but promises political dividends for a ruling coalition trying to cool disquiet over high inflation.

Government likely to increase food subsidies
The Union Budget for the year 2011-12 is going to presented by finance minister on Monday 28 Feb 2011 and the government is likely to increase subsidies on food, a populist move that hurts public finances but promises political dividends for a ruling coalition trying to cool disquiet over high inflation. Though the govt is moving away from its partly socialised economy, removing subsidies has always been a tough call as they protect millions of poor voters who determine who governs. Its policies have led to huge stockpiles of rice and wheat, but the government has often wrestled with the question of how to distribute — free handouts defer long-term solutions and erratic monsoons and global supplies raise risk in slicing stocks.

Auto parts manufacturers eye tech boost
India’s auto parts makers want the government’s help to upgrade technology and spur investments to boost capacity, but analysts do not see the budget for 2011-12 to be tabled in parliament on Feb 28 taking many steps in this direction. On the contrary, the expectation is that of a modest increase in excise duty on cars that might near up prices. In 2010-11 thus far, component makers have witnessed an increase in sales, but going ahead rising input costs are seen weighing on margins.

Banks hope for nod to sell infra bonds in budget
Indian banks are hoping they get the government’s nod to issue tax-free infrastructure bonds and some a tax concession for 2011-12. Public sector banks are also looking for the finer details of the government’s capital infusion plans, which will boost capital adequacy and raise the government’s stake to 58 percent in many. Currently only Industrial Finance Corp, Life Insurance Corp, Infrastructure Development Finance and some other non-banking infrastructure finance firms are granted to issue tax-free bonds.

IT firms hope for STPI extension
Indian information technology firms are looking for increased spending on education, e-governance and defence sectors, and an extension by at least one year of tax benefits under the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) scheme, but many think it is unlikely. STPI was a society set up by the Ministry of Information Technology in 1991 to boost software exports. Among other benefits, the STPI scheme provides a 10-year income tax exemption for units situated in software technology parks.

Government might tweak fuel taxes
India, struggling to equilibrise between slicing its pricey fuel subsidies and curbing inflation, might tweak fuel taxes in the Feb. 28 budget to cushion the blow of rising global crude prices on state-run oil retailers. Tackling the current informal structure of fuel subsidies would help investors place a superior valuation on proposed share income for Indian Oil Corp (IOC) and Oil and Natural Gas Corp, aimed at bringing in more revenues for New Delhi. Any decision on slicing subsidies would be a highly charged politically in a country where half a billion people live on tiny more than the cost of a litre of diesel a day.

FMCG firms want inflation tackled
India’s fast moving consumer goods industry is hoping the upcoming budget will bring in concrete measures to tame spiraling inflation and viable tax structure to ensure continued growth. The 130-billion-rupee industry, which is the fourth largest sector in the Indian economy, has been reeling under the pressure of surging input costs and subsequent impact on profit margins. Prices of agri-commodities are on the rise. Prices have risen by 30-35 percent in the past two year and there is also simultaneous rise in freight rates and packaging costs which is squeezing the operating margins of the FMCG companies.

Power firms want extension of tax sops
Indian power sector anticipates the government to continue its thrust on infrastructure and pins its hopes on incentives for the renewable energy sector and extension of sunset clause under Income Tax Act in the budget for 2011-12 to be tabled in parliament on Feb 28. Under section 80-I(A) of the Income Tax Act mega power generation projects, with over 1,000 megawatts (MW) in case of thermal and over 500 MW in hydro, are exempted from income tax for 10 years, if they are commissioned before March 2011.

Pharma firms want tax cuts, R&D sops boost Drugmakers want tax exemption deadline for export oriented unit (EOUs) to be extended and want infrastructure or priority sector position in the budget on Feb 28. The deadline for full exemption of tax on net profit for exports oriented units, or EOUs, ends in March, though drug-making facilities in special economic zones would not be affected. The exemption beyond March 2011 will wage relief to companies like Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals, Divi’s Laboratoriess, Cipla and Torrent Pharmaceuticals, which run EOUs.

Media firms seek higher FDI, lower taxes to aid growth
Media firms are anticipating the government, in its budget for 2011-12 on Feb. 28, to wage them with some tax relief and are hopeful of getting a growth boost by way of an increase in foreign direct investment limit. In June 2010, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, which also regulates broadcasters, had suggested higher foreign direct investment in the broadcasting sector, particularly in direct-to-home (DTH) and telegram network operators and FM radio.
