Brilliant swing-bowling performance from Sreesanth (3/77), Praveen Kumar (3/45) and Ishant Sharma (3/66) helped the visitors restrict England to 221 but not before a Spirited effort from Stuart Broad (64 from 66 balls) and Graeme Swann (28) helped the hosts recover from 124 for 8, adding 73 runs for the ninth wicket to help England cross the 200-run mark. India lost the sole wicket of Mukund as they ended day one of the second test at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on 24 for 1.

India won the toss and the overcast conditions prompted Dhoni to bowl first as India went into the match with Sreesanth in place of hurt Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh in place of hurt Gautam Gambhir, while England roped in Tim Bresnan in place of hurt Tremlett. Dhoni’s decision to field reaped rewards immediately as Ishant Sharma trapped Alastair Cook leg before wicket in just the sixth over of the day for 2.

Replays showed that the ball was going over the top, but Cook had survived an LBW shout in the previous over when he looked plumb in front against Praveen Kumar. Strauss and Jonathan Trott then added 16 runs from five overs before Sreesanth had the latter caught at second slip with a superb outswinger. Pietersen then counter attacked the Indian bowling, pulling Sreesanth for consecutive boundaries wide of mid on. He then added couple of more boundaries to his study off Kumar, one through mid wicket and the other through gully. The pair added 46 runs to take England to 69 for 2 at lunch.

After lunch, the English were on backfoot as Sreesanth had danger-man, Pietersen, caught at third slip for 29 with a beautiful outswinger and then eight overs later Kumar had Strauss caught at third slip to reduce England to 85 for 4. Two deliveries later Kumar trapped Morgan leg before wicket for a duck and suddenly England were down in dumps at 65 for 5.

Things got worse for England two overs later when Sreesanth had Matt Prior caught at first slip with his trademark outswinger to make it 88 for 6. Bell was playing an uncharacteristic innings as he slashed one over first slip and then survived a dropped chance via Dravid at first slip. Bell and Bresnan added 29 for the seventh wicket before Ishant Sharma had the latter caught at first slip with a ball that moved away from the batsman. Ishant Sharma then prefabricated it worse for the home side when he had the last recognised batsman, Bell, caught behind for 31. England went into tea struggling at 124 for 8.

After tea, Swann clobbered Sharma for two boundaries in an over which was followed by Broad’s couple off Sreesanth. Broad also was playing with an aggressive mindset as he hit three boundaries in the next three overs. The pair added 73 runs from 69 deliveries before Kumar finally broke the partnership with a snorter from just short of a length which hit Swann’s handle and popped up for an simple catch at gully.

Swann hit 28 from 35 deliveries with three hits to the fence. Broad then brought up a spirited half-century from just 56 deliveries with a boundary straight over the bowler’s head. He then launched Sreesanth over mid-off and then crafted another lovely inside-out shot for a boundary over extra cover. Harbhajan finally had Broad caught at deep midwicket as England ended up on 221 fighting back from 124 for 8.

In reply, India got off to a bad begin as Anderson had Abhinav Mukund caught at gully for duck off the first ball of the innings. Mukund played a loose drive off a full swinging delivery and managed to edge it in hands of Pietersen at gully. Dravid and Laxman then resurrected the innings and prefabricated sure that there were no more slip-ups as they took the score to 24 for 1,197 runs behind at the end of days play.

In any family when one mortal gets excited about something new, everybody gets in on the act. And that is certainly true of children. They love to be active in whatever hobbies mother and papa love to be part of. So if you bowl, the children want to go and play the video games. If you love Shakespeare in the park, the children will go and play on the ground nearby. So if you can find a way to give the children a part of what you are doing, that keeps the family together.

That might seem tough with a hobby like home brewing. After all, the process of brewing is pretty involved and there is boiling water and sterile instruments to think of. That kind of thing really isn’t fun for the kids. So if you can find a way to make a “beer” just for them, then they too can enjoy the excitement and feel part of what the adults are doing.

A way to fill this need is to brew up a delicious batch of ginger beer from for the kids. And the nonalcoholic beverage drinkers in the family will love it too! Of course, ginger beer is not real “beer” in the sense of an alcoholic brew even though it can be blended with beer for delightful and very British toddy. But it’s so simple to make that the children can get involved and they will love the beverage that results nearly as much as mother and papa love their home brewed beer.

It’s a good thing to have the procedures, tools and ingredients for your ginger beer all ready to go on brew day because it’s a great surprise to the children to let them know that they are going to get to make their own beer too! Because the steps for making ginger beer are fast, simple and harmless, the kiddos can have a ball doing it using a very simple recipe and even if they drink it all gone, it’s simple enough to whip up another batch.

The ingredients for ginger beer are not exotic and they can be found at any grocery store. They include…

. Be ready with 8 plastic bottles that will hold a pint and 4 bottles that will hold a quart and some bowls to mix the ginger beer up with.
. Ginger – you can get it fresh at larger grocery stores. Two ouches is enough.
. Cream of tartar – about one teaspoon will do.
. Two lemons sliced.
. A pound of sugar
. An ounce of yeast
. Boil one congius of water.

Now it’s just a matter of putting it all together. Cut the lemons in huge sized rings and combine them in a huge bowl with the other ingredients. The only other preparation you need to do besides boiling the water is to crush the ginger so it mixes with the water and other parts of the beer.

Now just chill the mixture to room temperature and add the yeast. Put it in the larger bottles to let it ferment for a couple of days. Once that is done, skim off the residue on top and your ginger tea is ready to enjoy.

Imagine a bathroom that never has a dirty toilet bowl ring, toothpaste blobs in the sink or spots on the mirror. How would you like to have a sparkling clean bathroom apiece day without ever cleaning it?! I do it apiece day, with the help of some great tips from Flylady, Marla Cilley, and I’ll pass it onto you so you’ll be free and clean, too!

Things You’ll Need:
Toilet brush & container

Soap

Wipes or towel

Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner

Step1

Do It the Flylady Way! The key here is tiny things apiece day. Flylady calls this bathroom step “Swish and Swipe”. If you can swish your toilet and swipe your sink clean apiece day, they will clean themselves. It’s easiest to begin with a clean bathroom and use these steps to maintain it forever, but I started with a evenhandedly dirty one and “S&S”‘d my way to a clean room without a serious cleaning beforehand, too!

Step2

First, after your last visit to the “loo” in the morning, use a toilet brush with a tiny soap to “Swish” the bowl. As Flylady says, “soap is soap”, so any type of cleaning agent is great for this. I place disinfecting bathroom cleaner in my toilet brush holder, but I’ve also use old shampoo or liquid soap in a pinch, too.

Step3

Second, after you finish your morning grappling washing and teeth brushing, “Swipe” around the washbasin with a paper towel or disinfecting cleaning wipe (Clorox and Lysol ones are great for this) to wipe up the toothpaste globs and shaving hairs, etc.

Step4

Next, use a towel (I use the same one as I used for the sink) to wipe down the lid, seat and bowl rim of the toilet. I found the job to be an absolute lifesaver with two small boys in the throes of potty training!

Step5

Finally, after apiece shower of the day, wipe down the walls or use a great maintenance tool like Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Cleaner to keep the soap scum and mold from building up. Voila! You have a clean bathroom to great you apiece day and make you feel great. Nothing feels more like pampering than having hotel-clean bathrooms without those marathon cleaning sessions!

First of all you must decide weather you will be installing a garbage disposer on you double bowl sink drain. If you will be installing a garbage disposal ,you must do that first.Install disposer as directed.

With just the double bowl sink drain and no disposer, you need to buy the sink drain assembly kit and p-trap. For a kitchen sink drain, usually the pvc pipes will be 1 1/2 inch in diameter. It’s also ideal to get a couple of 6 or 12 inch straight extensions to reach certain drain heights.

Use extensions to come down from sink strainer if necessary. If not begin by attaching double bowl sink drain assembly kit to apiece strainer. Those two pieces come straight into a tee. The tee drops down into the p-trap.This is also a doable place where you can use an extension if necessary. the p-trap then must be shot on a level plain or a slight downward slope into the female adapter in the wall.

Assemble all of the pieces loosely at first. The p-trap will have some capability to swivel so that in can be adjusted to head straight into the wall. Tighten all of you nut joints and be sure to use all of the correct washers.Hand tighten good and snug.Plug you sinks and fill with water.Drain both sinks at the same time, while watching and feeling for leaks.

If you’ve determined that you are leak free, you’re finished. If a leak is present make sure that none of the pipes are kinked or crooked, loosen pipes at leak. Check to see if washer is properly seated.Re-tighten the nut joint making sure not to cross thread the parts.Check periodically just to make sure no leak has sprung up.

 Step 2

Taco dip: Warm up re-fried beans and spread them out on a platter. Mix cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning till combined. Spread that out on top of the beans. Layer tomatoes and cheese on top of that. Serve with tortilla chips.

Mix together some powdered sugar and milk to make a freezing to drizzle over the fruit. This will help bind it together.

Sherbet punch: Pour pop into punch bowl. Shortly before your celebration starts scoop sherbet into your punch bowl–Enjoy!

Ranch Breaded chicken sandwiches: Thaw chicken breasts. in three bowls, place milk, ranch dressing seasoning, and cornflake crumbs. In this order dink chicken in milk then ranch dressing, then milk again and then cornflake crumbs. Bake the chicken till juices run clear. You can fry them but baking them is healthier. Toast your buns on a griddle and place some miracle whip on one side of the bun. Then you might place cheese, lettuce and tomatoes to finish off you sandwich.

In E-Trade’s memorable super bowl commercials which are mostly remembered for their “talking babies, featured a new baby, Lindsay who was called a “milk-a-holic.” This first aired during the super bowl and has been on the air since. The ad can be seen here.

The 23 year old actress, Lindsay Lohan feels that the E-Trade “milk-a-holic” baby in the ad is modeled after her, and some of her current troubles. Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovdia, states that Lohan is owed million in exemplary damages, plus another million in compensatory damages. Lindsay Lohan also want to have the ad removed off the air and to receive each copy of the commercial. They claim that E-Trade has violated Lohan’s rights under New York say civil-rights law and used her “name and characterization” in business without paying her or getting her approval. They assert that this add has been since by millions of people who watched the Super Bowl and has given E-Trade large profits.

Stephanie Ovadia told the New York Post. “They used the study Lindsay. They’re using her study as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the study Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s speaking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan.” Ovadia stated that many celebrities are known by one study only, such as Oprah, vocalist or Cher.”

Grey Group, the company who produced the “milk-a-holic” commercial for E-trade, stated that they “just used a favourite baby study that happened to be the study of someone on the statement team.”

E-Trade hasn’t given an official statement on the situation.

It seems that the baby in the “milk-a-holic” ad should be putting up a fuss, because now Lindsay Lohan is acting just like her…. a baby.

Sehwag went on to criticise Randiv’s actions in the post match press conference, and SLC secretary Nishantha Ranatunga called India manager Ranjib Biswal this morning to apologise. Sri Lanka Cricket and offspinner Suraj Randiv have both apologised to Virender Sehwag for denying him a one-day century.

Ranatunga called Biswal personally primeval on Tuesday morning to express his individualized and the SLC remorse and at the same time has ordered the Sri Lanka team manger, Anura Tennekoon, to probe the incident which has attained headlines in Indian as well as Sri Lankan media and sparked a strong debate over the impartiality of the way the delivery was bowled.

After the game, Sehwag stated Sri Lanka had used such tactics in the past, having left Sachin Tendulkar stranded at 96 with a similar strategy in a match in Cuttack.

“It was clear that the Lankan team did not want me to get to my 100,” Sehwag said.

Sangakkara did not state anything about who coaxed Randiv to bowl the no-ball but recommended his players should uphold the spirit of the game.”That (playing in the spirit of the game) is a grey area and it is not in black and white. It is for all the teams in the world. All the teams have experienced something or the other. Presenting yourself well on and off the field and making efforts to play clean are I think part of our job,” he said.”As professionals, however, we try to forget what had happened at the beginning or the end of a match and try to go ahead. So, we have to get the superior of the situation and try to win each match we play. That is what we are going to do now,” he added.
